On the Nature of Forgiveness

His friends all ran away.
They crucified him.

He came back to life
(It’s what God does)
He told the lady 
At the tomb
On Easter morning
Go tell the guys,
And then he 
Made them breakfast.

At rising from the dead
To save the world
He was pretty good.

At resurrecting sins
Maybe not so much​
